About

Carbyon is an Eindhoven-based start-up developing direct air capture (DAC) technology that filters CO2 from the atmosphere using a patented 'fast-swing' sorbent process. The captured CO2 can be stored underground or reused -- for example supplied to greenhouses to improve crop growth, or converted into synthetic fuels. Founded in 2019, the company is scaling what it describes as one of the world's fastest DAC machines toward commercial launch.
