These terms govern your use of FindNL, a platform for finding and contacting Dutch companies, products and services. By using the platform you agree to them.
1. The service
FindNL provides multilingual, AI-assisted search over a directory of Dutch companies, and system-mediated messaging between searchers and companies. AI-generated summaries, groupings and translations can contain mistakes: verify information that matters before acting on it.
2. Accounts and company listings
You must provide accurate information when creating an account or registering a company. Company listings are reviewed before publication and can be suspended or removed if they are inaccurate, misleading or violate these terms. Verified badges reflect checks we performed (such as KvK or domain verification) but are not a guarantee of any company's performance.
3. Platform-mediated communication
All contact between searchers and companies happens through the platform. We route, store and — where needed — translate messages. Email is used for notifications only and never to share either party's contact details. Do not attempt to extract another user's personal contact information.
4. Acceptable use
Do not send spam or abusive messages, misrepresent who you are, scrape the platform, probe its security, or use it for unlawful purposes. Enquiry and registration forms are rate-limited and CAPTCHA-protected; abusive conversations can be closed and accounts suspended.
5. Sponsored placement
Companies can subscribe to paid tiers that add profile features and bounded ranking boosts. Sponsored placements are labeled as such in results.
6. Content and intellectual property
Companies remain responsible for the content of their listings and warrant that they are allowed to publish it. The platform, its design and its software remain the property of FindNL. You keep the rights to the content you submit and grant us the licence needed to operate the service — storing, displaying and translating it.
7. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". We are not a party to any transaction between searchers and companies and do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, search results or AI-generated content. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for damages arising from use of the platform is excluded.
8. Changes, termination and applicable law
We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for violations. These terms are governed by Dutch law.
