FindNL uses strictly necessary cookies only: no advertising, no cross-site tracking, no analytics cookies. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner — the cookies below are required for the site to work and are exempt from consent.

1. Cookies we set

The platform sets the following first-party cookies:

  • Session cookies (authentication) — keep you signed in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. HttpOnly; deleted when the session ends or expires.
  • NEXT_LOCALE (language) — remembers the language you chose so pages render in it. Stored for 12 months.

2. CAPTCHA

When CAPTCHA protection is enabled on the enquiry or registration form, Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies or use similar techniques strictly necessary to distinguish people from bots. This serves security and abuse prevention only.

3. No tracking

We measure usage with first-party, server-side events (such as profile views and enquiries) that do not use cookies and are not shared with advertising networks. If we ever introduce cookies that require consent, we will ask for it first.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will prevent signing in and keeping your language choice.
